To all interested in health and wireless radiation, especially from the smart electric meters of SMUD, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, welcome to our site. There is a lot of information about wireless radiation and health effects. Smart meters transmit microwave and radio frequency radiation. Unlike a wifi or cell phone you cannot turn your smart meter down or off. The utilities can remotely lower the number of transmissions per day or peak power of the transmissions but you can’t, and they don’t. The fact is that the customer does not need a smart meter on his or her home. The utility does not have any legitimate reason for installing and operating a smart meter on your home. SMUD has refused our repeated requests to quantify the benefits of smart meters for the consumer. Yet they spent $360 million on this program including a $127.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy. Go figure. It is a boondoggle and a fiasco from the beginning.
